Location near the heart of town makes it easy to explore the area. The outdoor spaces, like the garden, provide a nice spot to relax and unwind after a long day.
The advertised restaurant was closed, leaving no dining options on-site, which felt misleading. My room was in dire need of upkeep. the shower controls were broken, leftover items from previous guests cluttered the drawers, and the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. I felt like I stepped back into the 70s with the outdated décor and furnishings. The steep stairs to the upper floor rooms were a struggle, especially when laden with luggage. it didn’t meet basic expectations for comfort or amenities.

the location is great, just a short walk to the town center. the staff were really friendly and welcoming. the room had all the stuff we needed like a kettle and some snacks. the bed was ok, a bit comfy for a good night's sleep. plenty of off-road parking too.
but the bathroom wasn't that clean, had some stains on the towels. also, the heating didn't seem to work properly during the night.

We had a lovely family room with plenty of space for everyone, and it was nice to have a kettle for drinks. My sister enjoyed playing games with the kids while I relaxed, creating some great memories together.
My kids wished for a better meal option available at the hotel. It would be great to have more family-friendly dining choices.

The location offered easy access to local restaurants, which was a positive aspect. the room experience fell short. the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom lacked a lock on the inside, raising safety concerns. the absence of catering services and an unresponsive front desk service left much to be desired.

A Charming Stay with Character!
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent trip. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made our stay memorable. Don't miss the homemade breakfasts. the pancakes were a delightful surprise! For a unique experience, ask for a room on the upper floor for better views.

The stay was pleasant with a spacious twin room and high ceilings. Enjoyed the extra pillows and chocolates at the desk, but the bathroom photos didn't reflect reality.

The manager here really stepped up when I arrived late. he helped me with my luggage and even offered me a cozy breakfast in bed the next morning. The game room and lounge area were perfect places to unwind after a long day. The only downside was that the room could have used a bit more lighting, but overall, I had a fantastic stay! 😊

missingWrote a review on 01 Febfriendly hostcomplimentary chocolatesoverpowering paint smellinoperative televisionlack of privacy
A stay here was greatly disappointing. The room reeked of fresh paint, making it unbearable. Basic amenities like an inoperative TV and lack of privacy due to sheer curtains missing added to the discomfort. Customer service lacked any semblance of hospitality, further exacerbating the experience. At £120, this was a complete letdown with no breakfast or dining options available.
